Opening a house for the season
A large share of Zephyrhills homes are lived in from late fall to spring and sit closed the rest of the year. When the owners come back, the house needs more than a quick dusting. Every surface has a layer on it, fans and blinds have gathered months of dust, the refrigerator needs to be emptied and wiped, and the linens need changing.
A deep clean before you arrive handles the dust and detail work: dusting top to bottom, baseboards and door frames, ceiling fans and blinds, sills and tracks, and detailed work in the kitchen and bathrooms. The inside of the fridge is a $45 add-on. Send your arrival date in the form and we schedule the visit ahead of it. Leaving for the summer works the same way: book a closing clean for after you go.
Opening and closing visits are deep cleans priced by square footage, and you can book them together.
What's included in deep cleaning

Older homes, smaller rooms
The core of town has houses built from the 1950s through the 1980s. Bathrooms are smaller, tile is often original, and some rooms still have carpet where a newer build would have plank. Original tile and grout take more scrubbing to bring back than a newer floor, and carpet means more vacuuming along the edges and under any furniture we can move.
We also clean villas and manufactured homes in the 55-plus communities, and the newer houses going up in Silverado and Abbott Park. If your community has gate or visitor rules, include them when you book so the cleaner gets in without a delay.
Carpeted rooms are vacuumed thoroughly, edges and corners included. If you also need carpet shampooing, ask before booking and we will tell you whether it can be arranged.
In smaller bathrooms the work is close and detailed: grout lines along the tub, the base of the toilet, the edges where the floor meets the wall. In older kitchens we wipe the outside of every cabinet and scrub the inside of the microwave. Inside the oven and inside the cabinets can be added for $45 each.
What you pay
Price depends on square footage only, so a smaller older house lands in the first rows of the table: up to 999 sq ft is $220, 1,000 to 1,499 sq ft is $330, and 1,500 to 1,999 sq ft is $440. From 1,500 sq ft up a deep clean is booked at twice the hours of a standard visit of the same size.
Once an older home has had its deep clean, a recurring visit there is usually shorter than in a large new build. For year-round residents, weekly visits are 15% off and every other week is 10% off from the second visit. Rentals that are turning over between tenants are better served by our move-out clean.
A booking runs at least four hours. You can pay by credit card, cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal and other common methods. Sunday is closed. Send the square footage and the type of clean with the form, or book online at lilly-maids.com/booknow.

Can the house be ready before I arrive for the winter?
Give us your arrival date and we schedule a deep clean before it, and you can add the inside of the refrigerator ($45) and a linen change for each extra bed ($15) to that visit.
Do you clean manufactured homes and villas?
Yes, along with single-family homes, across ZIP codes 33540, 33541 and 33542, including Silverado, Abbott Park and Crystal Springs.
My house still has its original tile. Will a deep clean help?
Yes. Original tile and grout get a detailed scrub on a deep clean. Send the square footage and roughly the year the house was built so we can plan the time.
What if my travel plans change?
Rescheduling is free if you let us know by the day before the visit. A later cancellation carries a $50 fee.
