What an apartment clean costs
Most apartments and condos fall into the lowest price bands, because the price depends on square footage, not on the number of bedrooms or bathrooms:
- Standard clean, up to 1,999 sq ft: $220
- Deep clean, up to 999 sq ft: $220
- Deep clean, 1,000 to 1,499 sq ft: $330
- Deep clean, 1,500 to 1,999 sq ft: $440
- Move-in or move-out clean: same price as the deep clean for the same square footage
Why the 4-hour minimum matters for small homes
The minimum booking is 4 hours, which is $220. That is why a 700 sq ft studio and a 1,900 sq ft townhouse cost the same on a standard clean. For a small apartment, the 4 hours leave time for detail that a quick visit would skip.
For apartments under 1,000 sq ft, a deep clean and a standard clean are the same price, $220. If your apartment has not been professionally cleaned in a while, there is no reason to book the standard visit; choose the deep clean.
Recurring cleaning for apartments
On a standing schedule, weekly visits are 15% off and every-other-week visits are 10% off, starting with the second visit. For an apartment on a standard clean at $220, that is $187 per weekly visit or $198 per every-other-week visit. Visits every four weeks are at the full $220.
A standard visit covers the kitchen (counters, sink, stovetop, outside of appliances, floors), the bathrooms (toilet, shower and tub, sink, mirrors, floors), bedrooms and living areas (dusting, surfaces, vacuum and mop), and trash.
What is different about cleaning an apartment
The checklist is the same as in a house. What changes is the setting, and a few details help the visit go smoothly:
- Access: tell us about gate codes, building entry, elevators and where to park; complex and building rules vary
- Parking: guest parking in some complexes is limited, so a note about where to park saves time
- Kitchens are smaller but get used just as hard; inside the oven and inside the fridge are $45 add-ons each
- Balconies and patios are not part of a cleaning visit, which covers the inside of the apartment
- Pets: tell us in the booking if you have them, so the visit allows time for pet hair
- Interior windows: $55 extra for homes up to 2,000 sq ft
Move-in cleaning: when you inherit someone else's mess
Apartments turn over often, and the unit you move into is not always as clean as it should be. A move-in clean is an empty-home clean done before your furniture arrives: inside drawers and closets, window sills and tracks, blinds, walls spot-cleaned and all floors vacuumed and mopped last. The inside of the cabinets, the oven and the fridge are $45 add-ons each.
Book it between getting the keys and the movers. The water and electricity need to be on. If the move date shifts, text us and we move with it.
Move-out cleaning before you hand back the keys
Property managers check inside appliances, cabinets and bathrooms first. The move-out clean covers the bathrooms, drawers, closets, sills, blinds, baseboards, light fixtures and floors, and the inside of the cabinets, the oven and the fridge can be added for $45 each. Send the walkthrough date and the property manager's checklist if you have one, and we schedule before it. We cannot promise a landlord's decision on a deposit, but we clean everything a move-out clean includes.
If you are moving from one apartment to another in our area, you can book the move-out at the old place and the move-in at the new one.
How to prepare for an apartment clean
In a smaller space, clutter takes up a bigger share of the visit. A few minutes of preparation means more of the 4 hours goes into cleaning:
- Pick up clothes, shoes and papers from floors
- Clear the counters and the bathroom vanity you want cleaned underneath
- Leave dishes in the sink only if you added dishes as an extra
- Put away valuables and anything fragile you would rather we not move
- Send building access and parking details before the visit
- Tell us about any surface that needs a specific product
Extras for apartments

- Inside the oven: $45

★★★★★
Amazing work! I didn’t move in as a new tenant, so I inherited someone else’s mess and never had a deep clean. Turned my depressing apartment into a place that I actually want to spend time. I’ve just become a regular customer!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Common questions
Does a two-bedroom apartment cost more than a one-bedroom?
Not if the square footage falls in the same band. Price depends on square footage and type of clean, not on the number of rooms.
What is the price for a small studio?
$220, which is the 4-hour minimum. For homes under 1,000 sq ft, a deep clean and a standard clean are both $220.
Do you clean condos and townhouses?
Yes. Condos, townhouses and apartments are priced and cleaned the same way as houses, by square footage.
What do I need to tell you about my building?
Gate or building entry codes, parking instructions, the floor and whether there is an elevator. Add them to the booking form or text them before the visit.
Can you clean my new apartment before I move in?
Yes. Book a move-in clean between getting the keys and moving day, with water and electricity on.
